One of our favorite Sedum varieties is definitely ‘Plum Dazzled’. 'Plum Dazzled' creates a beautiful mounding habit that stands 8 inches tall and spreads up to 18 inches wide. ‘Plum Dazzled’ is a sport of ‘Dazzleberry’ featuring 40% darker coloration and blooming 2-3 weeks later. In the spring, foliage starts off a deep plum color and lasts throughout the season. In the late summer large 8″ magenta blooms cover the dark foliage and give over 6 weeks of color. Hardy in zones 4-9, ‘Plum Dazzled’ likes to be grown in a full sun location with average to dry soil conditions. Enjoy the bright pop of foliage and flower color of ‘Plum Dazzled’ Sedum in your rock gardens, as a border, or in container gardens.
