Weeping Blue Alaskan Cedar

Chamaecyparis nootkatensis ‘Glauca Pendula’

The Weeping Blue Alaskan Cedar is an evergreen tree with blue-green foliage. Its weeping, pendulous habit makes it a handsome landscape tree. It grows to 20 to 30 feet tall and 8 to 12 feet wide. This tree works very well as an accent and can take full sun, although it will perform better with some afternoon shade.

This tree prefers moist, well-drained soils and should not be allowed to dry out. It has no serious disease problems in our area, but it should be protected from drying winds.
